Successful installation of Calacatta 30mm quartz worktops for Ophélie Barnett’s kitchen in West Hampstead, London.

This project  featured polished quartz surfaces with a Calacatta-inspired veined design, using one 3200x1600mm slab. Key elements include:

• Worktop: 3200x620mm sink run with draining grooves on the right handside.
• Island: 2800x940mm hob run with downdraft extractor, 250mm underside polish on breakfast bar.
• Custom cutouts: 1x tap hole, 1x rough hob cutout, 1x downdraft extractor cutout, 1x undermount sink cutout, 1x set of 5 drainer grooves.
• Edge profile: Oencil polished.

Completed on November 28, 2022, this renovation showcases the durability and luxury of quartz for modern London homes—non-porous, heat-resistant, and low-maintenance.
