Nero Marquina honed marble is prevalent in bathroom and flooring applications because the matte finish lasts longer than the glossy texture. But, first, it has higher scratch resistance and fewer stains and marks than polished Nero Marquina because the sunlight doesn’t reflect on the honed surface like when it is polished.
Secondly, Black Marquina marble honed is more grippy by nature. Finally, it offers excellent impact resistance with a minimum fall to cracks of 41 cm, requiring lower regular sealing.
