What is Terrazo Murano?
Agglotech Terrazzo Murano is authentic terrazzo marble from its native location and pays tribute to the island of Murano in Italy.
Murano is famous for its enduring legacy in the art of painted glassmaking over the centuries, where several churches and monuments display the famous terrazzo mosaic floorings today.
The intricate design of a Murano worktop features a range of colours and patterns arranged to form geometric shapes, setting it apart from tiles by offering large-format marble combined with a terrazzo mixture that creates an extraordinary modern version of the ancient stone.
This combination makes it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hotels, restaurants, bars, retail stores and commercial buildings.
Furthermore, this technique has been passed down through generations in Italy’s Venetian region and is still prevalent in every Agglotech terrazzo work surface.
