Silestone Quartz is highly durable, easy to maintain, and resistant to scratches, stains, and heat. Additionally, Silestone Quartz comes in a 12mm thickness, which is unavailable in quartzite, providing more design options for your kitchen or bathroom worktops.
Silestone tends to be on the higher end when it comes to cost. Depending on size, customization, grade, and labour costs, a Silestone worktop can range between £390 and £890 per square metre installed. On the other hand, a quartzite worktop, with similar factors considered, typically falls between £380 and £600 per square metre installed.
Maintain Silestone worktops by cleaning spills promptly, using mild cleaners for tough stains, avoiding harsh chemicals, using trivets for heat, handling edges carefully, and using a cutting board to prevent scratches.
