Silestone Marengo is a grey quartz worktop with mushroom-coloured hues that provides a simple and minimalistic design for interiors of any style. Marengo is a shade in the spectrum of subdued shades of grey that touches black and is a favourite for those who prefer simplicity and deliciousness, fulfilling the principle of less is more.
Cosentino’s Basiq Marengo is a natural quartz material to renovate bathrooms and kitchens using a formula that delivers attractive and diverse hues, textures, and superior performance features.
Silestone Marengo Description
Marengo is a Basiq Series colour minimalist-inspired worktop material. Marengo means ‘sautéed mushroom sauce ‘ and is a Silestone surface colour that delivers the ideal balance of symmetry and colour intensity. This dark grey worktop provides complete flexibility when creating and furnishing interior spaces.
You can choose Marengo between matte and glossy polished finishes and in different slab thicknesses. It is a natural quartz surface with an anti-stain treatment from Spain. Therefore, like the rest of Silestone worktops, our Silestone Marengo countertop comprises raw materials enabling it to resist mould growth without needing a sealant, giving you a better, healthier kitchen experience.
Basiq Series Marengo quartz worktops include a bacteriostatic treatment to protect their surfaces from hazardous viruses, making them hygienic surfaces without ongoing care or special upkeep from you.
With Silestone Marengo, you can design spacious, vibrant interiors with striking and distinctive characteristics. In addition, the HybriQ technology in the Basiq Series is 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
Silestone Basiq Series: Modern, Simple, Solid-Coloured Worktops
The Worktop Library is an approved supplier of Silestone, an eco-friendly quartz manufacturer. Specifically, we present Marengo, part of a collection of quartz colours that will make your home elegant with a natural stone look. In addition, it belongs to a range of kitchen surfaces with zero emissions, supporting two programs: seabed conservation and ecosystem replanting.
In addition to adding connectivity and functioning as a control panel in the kitchen, future worktops should allow users to cook directly on them. And Marengo is getting closer to this dream by providing a liquid-repellent worktop.
Because of its innovative stain-resistant characteristic, cleaning has never been more straightforward: you can use Silestone worktops to make meals that combine ingredients from around the world or locally and achieve exceptional results while appreciating the inventiveness, textures, colours, and personality that Cosentino utilises to build each of its original quartz worktops.

- Finally, rinse well with warm water and pat dry.
Yes. Silestone Marengo can withstand temperatures of up to 150C.
However, to prevent heat damage, do not set specific kitchen equipment, such as pans, pots, and other objects that emit heat like Silestone hot pan or a hot pot, immediately onto the surface after use. Instead, use a mat or rack until the tools have cooled. Thermal stress might cause damage.
