This quartzite is quarried in Bahia. Bahia is one of Brazil’s 26 provinces in the country’s northeast.
It is the 4th largest territory in Brazil in terms of population and the fifth-largest in terms of land. The capital of Bahia is Salvador, located on a patch dividing the Bay of All Saints from the Atlantic Ocean.
Once controlled by agricultural and herding sectors, Bahia is now mainly an industrial and agricultural region exporting some of the most vibrant quartzite materials to the rest of the world.

- This quartzite’s natural patterns bring the outside in, making you feel as if you have walked into a beautiful landscape in your house. Because granite Acuabella Green is a natural stone, each type will have a distinct colour and texture; whichever Acquabella quartzite slab you pick will provide a serene vibe and feel of wilderness to your home.
- You may add beauty and refinement to your kitchen using the same foundation and complementary materials in different tints, hues, or tones. For example, you can limit the green colours to the worktops for a more conservative style or extend it to the kitchen cabinets for a more daring effect. In any case, the end effect will be elegant and stunning.
We Seal Your Quartzite Worktops, So You Don’t Have to
Every time we receive a delivery of natural stone, our team of expert stonemasons seal the slabs before starting fabrication. Then, we perfectly shape your worktops, splashbacks, walls, and other pieces. After that, we will come to your home to install your kitchen worktop. Before completing your project, our worktop installers will seal your Persa Green quartzite worktops again, ensuring no dirt or bacteria can penetrate their surface.
In addition to repelling and absorbing liquids, our sealant acts as a barrier to protect the quartzite surface’s original sheen. Finally, we clear your countertops from any debris and leave your kitchen ready for use.
We recommend waiting twelve hours from installation to when you start using your worktops, giving the appropriate sealant time to embed into the countertop’s surface.

Yes. Acquabella quartzite, like any natural stone, is porous due to its surface's micro-permeable nature. When a stone is porous, it can absorb liquids through micropores and its interfacial texture. You can seal Acquabella quartzite with an inexpensive stone sealant by spreading the transparent liquid over the surface and letting it rest for a minimum of 12 hours. Repeat this process every 18-24 months, depending on how much traffic your quartzite surface receives.
Yes. If the chip or scratch in your quartzite worktop is over 5 mm deep, this part of the worktop becomes more susceptible to discolouration. You can repair chips on quartzite worktops by applying colour-matched stone resin, restoring the non-porosity in this area. A professional worktop installer may also buff the top layer of the stone to remove superficial scratches, restoring the original shine of the quartzite's surface.
Acquabella quartzite, also known as Verde Acqua quartzite, is a natural stone from Bahia in northeast Brazil.
