Caesarstone quartz and Caesarstone porcelain differ in their composition and characteristics. Caesarstone quartz uses natural quartz crystals combined with resin, offering exceptional durability and resistance to scratches and impact. It's an ideal choice for kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
On the other hand, Caesarstone porcelain is a newer addition, using a distinct manufacturing process involving clay and high heat. Porcelain surfaces boast a unique texture, are more heat resistant, are outdoors suitable and showcase captivating designs.
No. Caesarstone porcelain is a sintered stone that comprises different materials than ceramic. Therefore, its manufacturing process is also different to one of ceramic.
Caesarstone porcelain and Dekton are two sintered stones that diverge in composition. Each Caesarstone and Cosentino, which makes Dekton, have proprietary formulas for their porcelain products resulting in similar performance attributes. Dekton has a longer history in the market and boasts four available thickness options, in contrast to Caesarstone porcelain's two-thickness offerings.
