Origin & location of Primavera marble

Primavera marble is quarried in Yunnan province, China. The quarries are spread across the Yunnan province, located in the southwestern part of the country. The marble is known for its unique breccia-type patterns and colours, ranging from green to aqua to grey, and some slabs even have hints of pink to orange and white.

The mining of Primavera marble began in the 1990s and continues to this day. The area of Tengchong and Lushui, located in the western part of the province, is where it is extracted. Once the marble is transported to the processing plants, it is cut and polished before being exported to different countries worldwide.

Other names: Primavera marble is known with name variations across the countries and distributors offering the stone such as Primavera White marble, White Beauty marble, Jade Green marble, Ice connect marble, and Ice Green marble.
