Calce Bianco is an entirely natural food-safe material since it does not emit components in a mixture (even in the case of a fire) and does not enable moulds and fungus to grow.
The plaster is quite porous, quickly collecting dirt, spillage, and liquid cleaning agents. It's rather delicate and damaged quickly by abrasive substances or tools. In contrast, Laminam Calce is non-porous, highly resistant to abrasion stains, and doesn't require sealants.
