The stone design behind Borgogna Silber boasts several iconic structures, such as castles, abbeys, and Romanesque buildings, revered for their timeless beauty.
The stone is prevalent in greyish tones punctuated by subtle variations of light and dark shades and marked with delicate specks and veins. It also features irregular grey lines, which add to its unique and captivating appearance.

If there is a manufacturing defect, TAU will replace your worktop with the same colour, type, and finish as the original purchase. Likewise, if the actual product is no longer available, they'll replace it with a similar one.
It's important to note that commercial installations are not covered under this warranty.
So, if you want to protect your new worktop register it with TAU within 30 days of purchase. Then, head to www.ascale.es under the WARRANTY / CLAIMS section to register, and include your installation invoice. Don't wait too long, or you'll miss out on this great warranty!
Ascale TAU uses clay, sand, and water as sintered ceramic surfaces. While it is highly durable and resistant to moisture, it is not entirely waterproof. It means that ascale worktops can withstand exposure to water and humidity, but you should not submerge them in water for extended periods.
You can apply our 6 mm Ascale porcelain surface in any area, whether indoors or outdoors. For example, you can use it as a worktop surface, a wall covering, an external facade, and decorative furniture and door cladding material.
Our Ascale worktops come in three thicknesses - 6mm, 12mm, and 20mm - to cater to your needs and preferences. At a thickness of 6mm, Ascale porcelain surfaces weigh in at a lightweight 14 kg per square metre, making them ideal for projects where weight is a concern. For a more robust option, our 12mm thickness worktops offer a weightier feel at 29 kg per m2. And for the ultimate in sturdiness, our 20mm thickness worktops come in at a solid 48 kg per m2.
