Cimstone offers aesthetic alternatives for vanity tops and kitchen worktops with slab dimensions fit for each surface and different colour and texture alternatives. This Cimstone case study shows

This charming kitchen in London has transformed the home of the J. family. We are happy to see that they selected Cimstone worktops from The Worktop Library.

These are their words after we completed the installation:

We used The worktop Library, and we a very happy with the quality and value we received.

They were very professional from the beginning to the fitting.

We would use them again, highly recommended.

CIMSTONE CASE STUDY: DESIGN DETAILS

Pencil Edge profile

A detail of a pencil edge (round on top with a square base) displays a modern profile, ideal for contemporary kitchens. The small rounded top helps to avoid the chipping of the stone when an accidental impact occurs.

drainer grooves

Roy chose a set of five draining grooves, protecting the stone from contacting water over long periods. In addition, they provide a more aesthetic look to the worktops.

Miele h2760b Electric Oven

Integrated Oven. The family chose a Miele h2760b Electric Oven because it has a 76-litre capacity making it easy to cook for the whole family.

Miele m6262tc microwave

Microwave:  The family opted for a smart built-in microwave oven. Clearly, it gives them multiple cooking options. And they chose a Miele m6262tc microwave to match their appliances.

traditional kitchen tap two lever

Tap: The choice was of a two-lever tap. It has a single tap body equipped with a handle on each side. However, the spout is fixed but can be swivelled.

Lastly, the choice of an undermount sink was down to the fact that these sinks have no lip to catch dirt.

LIfe changing worktops

Before starting this Cimstone case study, we surveyed the property and found damaged wooden worktops. Because, some of its sections got rotten over time, attracting dirt and bacteria.

The new Cimstone Heriapolis quartz worktops in London, made an entire change for the family. Not only that the stone is non-porous (it doesn’t absorb liquids), but its properties help in keeping germs away from its surface. In addition, Rui and his familiy mentioned that they found their new surfaces very practical as all they use to clean it is a window cleaning spray. For one thing, we know that a pure white quartz worktop brings light into kitchens, making them luminous. In addition, and contrary to popular belief, a white quartz surface is one of the colours that shows the least amount of marks or dirt.
