First, the stone reimagines the distinctive characteristics of the valuable Paonazzo marble with bold veins. There are a few trends that this new Dekton Onirika Collection material is giving rise to.
First, is the trend displaying the high refinement of the Dekton design with intricate detailing. It gives the surface more depth and character without being heavy-handed in its appearance. Second, Dekton materials use different colours on different panels on the worktop, adding contrast to your space while creating a beautiful, one-of-a-kind look.

Dekton Vigil

Vigil complements its counterpart Daze, forming a contrasting pattern between unconscious and conscious, offering the intensity of an excitement design surge.

It has a higher gloss finish than other Dekton worktops, making for an elegant, modern, timeless kitchen and bathroom decoration material. In contrast with similar colours like Dekton Aura, the X-Gloss finish bounces the light on its surface to create highly luminous spaces.

A Dekton Vigil worktop carries the same prices, sizes and thicknesses as the rest of the Dekton Onirika worktops: £392 per sqm in 12mm thickness and £450 per sqm in 20 mm thickness, with a panel of 3220x1440mm.

Somnia displays dazzling patterns of rich rusty tans. Beneath the surface it blends with a network of small veins to create a calm feel. Therefore, it is an ideal option for pairing it with other neutral colours such as white, grey, or black. Additionally, you can match it as black-on-black to create a dark yet elegant ambience.

While pursuing its beautiful marble veins and adopting an altered state of consciousness, your visitors will become bewildered. However, its impact produces an elegant environment. You can combine it with bronze, timber, brass, and metal accents to sparkle while engulfing the kitchen in tranquillity.

Somnia is the only black marble colour in this collection. Moreover, the design allows you to create seamless transitions between worktops and splashbacks. Frequently Asked Questions

What is Dekton Onirika?

Dekton Onirika is a Collection of porcelain stones offering a diversion in the blurry lines between dreaming and being awake. The colours combine the lyrical and natural looks of marble mastered with Dekton’s innovation. It is inspired by visions when we dream and faintly think we are in charge. The collection has influences from both reality and fantasy, represented in marble effect designs to catch your attention. The new colours offer new textures to create a sense of luxury and continuity indoors and outdoors indoor and outdoor.

What is The Difference Between Dekton Lucid, Daze, Morpheus and Vigil, and Other Onirika Colours?

While Daze, Vigil, Morpheus and Lucid all belong to the same collection. But there are differences between each of these colours, making them distinctive and unique.

  • Dekton Daze and Morpheus offer a Calacatta look and a Velvet finish. Morpheus offers more rich veining for an even more striking marble effect. In contrast, Daze displays fewer veins for a more subtle look.
  • Lucid offers another alternative to Morpheus and Daze, with a finish in X-Gloss and a highly polished texture that reflects sunshine from the surface. Dekton Somnia, on the other hand, offers a black marbling worktop in a matte finish that you can use as a contrasting material for the rest of the colours in the collection.
  • In contrast, Trance and Awake offer rusty touches of high-quality and exotic white marbles such as Calacatta Borghini, Macchia Vecchia, and Calacatta Paonazzo.
  • Dekton Neural is the only colour from Onirika showing symmetrical veining, contrasting the hazy vein and dream-like patterns of the other designs. Furthermore, it replicates the natural beauty of white quartzite in textured and velvet finishes, which aren’t practical when you use the natural stone.

What Are The Difference Between Dekton Onirika and Calacatta Marble?

While some of the colours portray the authentic look of three exotic and highly valued Calacatta marble types (Calacatta Borghini, Calacatta Macchia Vecchia and Calacatta Paonazzo), the sintered stone worktops don’t require sealants or protective coatings.

And whilst you can use both outdoors, the high price of the rare types of Calacatta marble puts homeowners off using the natural stones externally, preserving the untouched beauty of the surfaces for their home interiors. However, because Dekton is engineered, you can get it at a fraction of the price. It makes it affordable to use it as so that you and outdoors or indoors surface without worrying about affecting it.
