Ascale Onice Black offers a sumptuous dark base and stunning veining in a semi-translucent design. Mirroring the characteristics of natural black onyx, the Ascale Onice Black worktops translate the beauty and depth of this stone into a robust and practical kitchen solution. Its exceptional aesthetic quality astounds anyone who beholds it.
With an intricate pattern that emulates organic movement, Onice Black weaves a glorious network of white and grey veins across its glossy, dark facade. This rich texture is adept at capturing the light, providing a mesmerising shimmer that cannot fail to impress. The shifting indigo and sapphire hues under the spotlight only add to the captivating appeal.
However, an Ascale Onice Black worktop doesn’t just focus on impeccable aesthetics. Its performance features are prime examples of its durability and strength. Unlike natural onyx, the Onice Black is resistant to scratches, stains, and impact due to the optimal synthesis of superior raw materials. As a result, the worktop retains its elegance and brilliance over time, even under heavy use.
Advantages of Ascale Onice Black over Natural Onyx
- Affordable: Ascale Tau is significantly cheaper than natural black onyx, making it a more cost-effective option for those who want the look of natural stone without the high cost.
- Lightweight but dense: Starting at 15 kg per m2 in 6mm thickness, an Onice Black backsplash weighs 75% less than natural onyx at 60 kg per m2. Additionally, Ascale slabs are denser than black onyx, providing higher stain resistance and durability.
- No maintenance: because of its non-absorbency, Onice Black is easier to maintain than natural onyx, as it does not require sealing or unique cleaning products.
- More robust and durable worktop: Ascale porcelain is more resistant to wear and tear by foot traffic, machinery, and other types of wear for food preparation surfaces.
- Higher resistance to heat, stains, scratches, and chemicals: Ascale Black Onice worktops are a practical option for use in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and other interior or design applications such as outdoor worktops.
